Terms & Conditions

By making and confirming a booking for Belkampar Retreat, guests accept that they have read, agreed and are bound to the below terms and conditions.

If the booking is made through a third party, the terms and conditions of that third party also apply.

Rates
​
All rates and fees are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST.
Rates, additional fees, deposits and security bonds are as stated in the booking confirmation email/message.
​
Payment and Booking Conditions
A valid payment card is required at the time of booking and a reservation will be deemed confirmed after payment of the initial deposit is received.
​
A 20% deposit of the total accommodation fee is required at the time of booking to confirm the reservation.
The full and final amount including any additional fees and the security bond is required no later than 5 days prior to check-in.

Belkampar Retreat reserves the right to release bookings without prior notice if full payment is not received on time.
​
It is the responsibility of the guest to review their booking confirmation details and promptly advise us if there are any errors or mistakes.
​
By providing payment card details, guests warrant they have the authority to use the payment card and they authorise Belkampar Retreat to charge the cost of their reservation to that payment card.
​
If guests require a payment invoice for the reservation please send a request email to Belkampar Retreat Management.

Arrival and Departure
​
Guests may check in from 3 pm onwards. Earlier access is subject to availability on the day of arrival.
​
Guests must check out by 10 am, unless by prior arrangement.
​
upon departure, guests are to lock all doors and return the key to the key safe lockbox.
​
If the key is lost or misplaced a replacement fee will be deducted from the security bond.
​

Security Bond
​
A security bond of $500 will be held per booking (pre-authorisation only) and is in addition to the total reservation cost.
In the event of any damage to the property, house, articles therein, missing items, or excess cleaning due to the house being left in an unacceptable state, deductions from the security bond will occur.

The bond will be fully refunded 7 days after departure in the case that no additional costs are incurred.

Cancellations
​
If you wish to cancel or change your reservation please email Belkampar Retreat management at info@belkampar.com.au. We cannot guarantee any change requests can or will be made.
​
Guests may cancel their reservation up to 5 days prior to their arrival and receive a full refund of the initial deposit.
No refund will be granted where a booking is cancelled less than 5 days prior to the arrival date.
​
No refund will be granted in the event a guest does not arrive for their booking or cancels on the date of their booking.
​
An official cancellation email must be received for the cancellation to be confirmed. If a cancellation email is not received the booking remains in effect and the remaining reservation costs will be charged.

Excess Cleaning
Belkampar Retreat requests guests to leave the property as it was found to avoid extra cleaning charges. This includes washing and placing away all dishes and cutlery, placing all rubbish in the appropriate bins provided, cleaning the BBQ (if used), returning all furniture and items to their original place, cleaning used ashtrays and picking up all bottle caps, cigarette butts left on the property. We also kindly ask that guests strip all beds that have been slept in.
The cleaners will clean the floors so this is not required by the guests, however cleaning charges may apply if the walls, floors, windows and/or linen are excessively dirty.

Should the property be left in a messy or unclean state, the security bond may be taken for
any additional cleaning services that are required.

Damages
​
Belkampar Retreat requests that guests notify us as soon as possible In the event of any breakages, damages and lost items.
​
Any damage, breakage or misplacement to Belkampar Retreat property caused during a stay that requires replacement, repair, or service will be deducted from the security bond. The charges are at the sole discretion of Belkampar Retreat management and will apply for up to 7 days after departure.

Smoking
​
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the house and any evidence that smoking inside occurred during a guest's stay will result in the security bond being ceased.
Guests are permitted to smoke outside and ashtrays are provided for cigarette butts.
We kindly request guests clean used ashtrays and pick up any cigarette butts left around the property.

Pets
​
Written consent for pets to attend Belkampar Retreat must be obtained before guests' arrival.
Pets are allowed inside and around the house but are strictly prohibited from beds and couches.
By making a booking at Belkampar Retreat, guests agree to clean up after their pets.
​
A pet fee of $50 per pet will apply.
Please note: If pets are present during a guest's stay but the pet fee is not received, a payment of $70 per pet will be deducted from the security deposit. This fee covers both the pet fee and administration costs associated with processing the reimbursement.
​
Any damage caused or additional cleaning services that are required will result in a deduction from the security bond.
​

Special Requests
At Belkampar Retreat will we try our best to accommodate guests' special requests but cannot provide any guarantee that we will be able to fulfil them.
